SAFETY DATA SHEET <br /> Section 4-First Aid Measures <br /> Eye Contact <br /> Immediately flush eyes with plenty of cool, clean water for at least 15 minutes. Keep eyelids apart to maintain maximum <br /> contact with water. Do not allow the individual to rub their eyes. Seek immediate medical attention. <br /> Skin Contact <br /> Remove contaminated clothing and footwear. Wash thoroughly with water, and do not reuse clothing until properly cleaned. <br /> Discard footwear. If a rash should develop, get medical attention. <br /> Inhalation <br /> Immediately remove individual to fresh air. If individual has stopped breathing, give artificial respiration. Get immediate <br /> medical attention. <br /> Ingestion <br /> If victim is conscious and able to swallow, quickly have them drink water or milk to dilute. Do not give anything by mouth if <br /> victim is unconscious or having convulsions. Induce vomiting only if advised by a physician or poison control center. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. If a spill has <br /> ignited, use water spray to disperse the vapors. Use a water spray to flush spills away from a fire and to dilute spills to non- <br /> flammable mixtures. Do not flush into a storm drain or public sewer. <br /> Special Fire-Fighting Procedures <br /> Product is extremely slippery when wet! Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool. If a spill has ignited, use water <br /> spray to disperse the vapors. Use a water spray to flush spills away from a fire and to dilute spills to non-flammable mixtures. <br /> Do not flush into a storm drain or public sewer. Do not direct a solid stream of water or foam into hot, burning pools;this may <br /> cause frothing and increase fire intensity. <br /> Special Protective Equipment for Firefighters <br /> Use self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and proper personal protection clothing. <br /> Unusual Fire and Explosion Hazards <br /> There are no known unusual fire and explosion hazards associated with this material in its virgin form. However, in a fire- <br /> fighting scenario involving multiple chemicals, fire fighters should be aware of possible synergistic effects and attack the fire <br /> accordingly. <br /> Hazardous Combustion Products <br /> Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, and hydrogen cyanide (hydrocyanic acid) may be produced in the event of combustion in an <br /> oxygen deficient atmosphere. <br /> DAF-30 SDS Page 2 of 6 <br />
