2.05.4 Reclamation Plan. <br />(1) The areas disturbed by the mine loadout will be returned to a cropland land <br />use. This will be accomplished by restoring the area to the approximate original <br />contour. Surface areas will be covered contoured and seeded with the approved seed <br />mix. <br />(2) Required Information. <br />(a) Timetable for each phase of the reclamation. <br />See schedule of revegetation below. Reclamation of the site will take <br />two construction seasons. The first phase of reclamation is the <br />removal of buildings and structures from the site. This phase will occur <br />during year one of the reclamation schedule. The second phase of <br />reclamation will be recontouring the area to approximate original <br />contours, placing available topsoil on the regraded area and seeding <br />the area with the approved seed mix. This second phase will take <br />approximately six months. <br />Sequence and Timing of Reclamation <br />Reclamation activities 1 through 10 can be performed in any order. <br />Activities 11 through 15 will performed in numeric order after activities 1 <br />through 11 are complete. <br />1. Rail bridge: The rail bridge support structure, concrete piers and <br />concrete north abutment will be removed from the site. Excess material <br />from the removal of the rail bridge will be hauled to the coal stockpile <br />area. The south concrete abutment will not be removed. (1 month) <br />2. Rail Spur: Portions of the rail spur may still need to be regraded and <br />seeded. (1 week) <br />3. Truck Scales: The scale and associated foundations will be removed <br />from the site. (1 week) <br />4. Truck Dump: The concrete foundations associated with the truck dump <br />will be demolished and buried in the coal stockpile area. (1 month) <br />RN -07 2.05-23 03/18 <br />
