The existing <br /> scalehouse and stockpile area surrounding it is outside and above the <br /> present day 10- year floodplain. <br /> • Weld County is aware and acknowledges that the existing scalehouse and <br /> yard that presently occupy this location, supports on-going and continuing <br /> recycling activities and will remain in place and active subsequent to <br /> planned OMLR release. The remainder of the focus is upon Area 3. <br /> • Area 3 outside the buffer strips pertains to: <br /> 1. Sub-area A: These are locations for planned agricultural stockpiles <br /> and mobile equipment which lie within the approximate 100-year <br /> floodplain, consistent with that for common agricultural activities found <br /> in the A- Agriculture Zone. <br /> 2. Sub-area B: The location of the concrete and asphalt recycling <br /> processing equipment and stockpiles - which are also outside and <br /> above the approximate 100-year floodplain - are activities consistent <br /> with that found in the A- Agriculture Zone and acknowledged as an <br /> allowed use under the existing Weld County USR 616; and will remain <br /> so subsequent to release of the OMLR permit. <br /> 3. Sub-area C: This is a defined area of a 4.0+/- acre buffer strip and <br /> vegetative filter to better stabilize and segregate lands from planned <br /> activities. The strip has been modified from the previous Technical <br /> Revision by changing the location of the buffer from along the southern <br /> boundary of the recycling area, to 25 feet either side of the existing <br /> buffer strip - where it will provide the greater benefit. Please refer to <br /> the revised Reclamation Plan Map included with this revision. <br /> • With the completion of grading, soiling, and revegetation of all areas other <br /> than the 4.0+/- vegetative buffer of Area 3(c), no other reclamation <br /> activity remains.
