B. Water Quality. State how applicable state and federal water quality standards will be met Describe measures or management
practices to be used to minimize water quality impacts and meet applicable standards.
1. State whether water is to be used in the operation, and describe the quantity, source, methods and design of diversions,
storage, use, disposal, and treatment facilities. Include assumptions for sizing water conveyance or storage facilities.
2. Describe methods to control erosion and surface water runoff from all disturbed areas, including waste and tailings dumps.
3. Describe proposed surface water and groundwater quality monitoring, if required, to demonstrate compliance with federal or
state water quality standards.
4. Describe the measures to be used to minimize potential water quality impacts during seasonal closures, or for a temporary
cessation of operations.
5. If land application is proposed for waste water disposal, the location and operation of the land application system must be
described. Also describe how vegetation, soil, and surface and groundwater quality will be protected if land application is
used.
1) All water will recirculate from the settleing pond with a pump and will not allow water from the ponds to enter the
creek.
2) Erosion will not be a factor. Holes will be filled in immediately and grass seed will be applied to area affected.
3) Water will be monitored daily andf samples taken if necessary. We will only use water from settling ponds.
4) The ponds during the off season while the claim is being operated will be allowed to evaporate. When the operation
is complete the settleing ponds will be back filled and brough back to a natural state.
5) N/A
C. Solid Wastes. Describe the quantity and the physical and chemical characteristics of solid waste produced by the operation.
Describe how the wastes will be disposed of including location and design of facilities, or treated so as to minimize adverse impacts.
No chemicals will be stored at this location. Fuel will be stored for the operation of machinery in commerial tanks that fit
in the back of Pickups. A sanolet for human wastes will be provided on site and maintenance of the facility will be
arranged to prevent any spills or contamination of surrounding land and timing of maintenance will be determined with
use and will be performed by the company providing the unit.. We anticipate creating 20 yards of waste rock and there
will be no contamination of the material. We will obtain a 20 yard dumpster to be used to contain all trash created while
on the property. This will be emptied on a weekly or bi weekly basis and determined to be appropriate.
D. Scenic Values. Describe protection of scenic values such as screening, slash disposal,or timely reclamation.
The intent is to protect any senic values while the operation of this claim is in process and to make sure that there is
nothing disturbed that would disrupt any senic values for the future. This includes any access roads used for access and
vegitive screening of the operation, which will blend with landscapes and dispose of and slash, garbage, wood piles in a
timely manner. This property is not visible from any roads or trails.
(!f more space is needed to fill out a block of information, use additional sheets and attach form)
-4-
