Refuse was <br />being placed on the top of RP-5a during the inspection. Both of the refuse piles were stable and well maintained. <br />The perimeter ditches were clear of debris and functioning as designed to transport runoff to the refuse ponds. <br />Minor rills were observed on the out-slopes of the refuse piles. The rills were not significant enough to warrant <br />repairs. These rill have been noted in previous Division inspection reports. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access roads throughout the mine site were observed to be wet and muddy. The roads were in good repair <br />and there were no erosional or stability issues. Rutting was observed to be at a minimum. The Haul Road was in <br />good condition. The road was wet and muddy in a couple of places. There were no ruts observed.
