Dewatering System. <br /> <br />PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES – Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br />Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> There is one reclaimed refuse pile at the mine site, RP -1. The pile was well vegetated and stable. There <br />were no erosional features identified. Refuse piles RP -2/3/4 and RP-5a are currently being used. During the <br />inspection, no work was being conducted on the refuse piles. The outslopes of the piles were stable and there were <br />no erosional features identified. The perimeter ditches were clear of debris and capable of functioning as <br />designed. There was not any water flowing during the inspection. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> Access road throughout the mine site were in good repair. There were no sections with erosional concerns <br />or instability. The haul road was in good condition. The ditches were clear of debris and capable of functioning <br />as designed. There was no observed erosional features along the haul road. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The RP-1 refuse pile has been reclaimed and reseeded for several years. The vegetation on the pile was <br />well established and there were no erosional features observed. The pile was stable. <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> Support Facilities On-Site that were inspected include: <br /> <br />- The main portals and facilities area <br />- The explosives storage area <br />- B Vent Shaft No. 1 <br />- Halandras Landfill <br />- Slot Storage <br />- RDH-4 <br />- Haul Road Blister No. 5 <br /> <br />All of the support fac ilities inspected were in good repair and there were no off -site impact observed. Berms for <br />the facilities were intact and there were no erosional features. <br /> <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): None <br />
