EXHIBIT H WILDLIFE INFORMATION
The operator will consider the safety and protection of wildlife on site.No described critical
species are known by this operator/applicant or landowner. The Colorado Division of Wildlife
statement/evaluation was prepared and attached to this report in Exhibit "H". The overall impact
to wildlife species should be minimal.
1. Significant Game Resources on the Affected Lands
Mule deer, Scaled Quail, and Pronghorn antelope are probably the most critical game resource in
this area. The current landscape offers very little ground cover which is useful for deer and other
small mammals. The presence of the mining operation since the 2000s has likely led to the game
wildlife being habituated to the operation.
2. Significant Non-Game Resources on the Affected Lands
Small rodents, rabbits, snakes, and lizards are probably the most critical non-game resource in
this area. Since there is very little ground cover, the value of the site for small animals is limited.
A complete catalogue of resident wildlife, along with suggestions to mitigate the disturbance to
said wildlife, are detailed in the correspondence attached from the Colorado Department of
Natural Resources, Division of Wildlife.
3. Seasonal Use of Affected Lands
No important seasonal use exists beyond seasonal rangeland pasture.
4. Presence and Estimated Population of Threatened or Endangered Species in the
Area.
None.
5. Fish Resources
None.
Robinson Gravel No 1
September 2018 H-1
