The following chart is a summary of the recommended pastureland seed mix and application <br /> rates. <br /> Species Pounds of pure live seed per acre(drilled) <br /> Western wheatgrass 8.0 <br /> Blue grama 1.5 <br /> Big bluestem 5.5 <br /> Sideoats grama 4.5 <br /> Total 19.5 <br /> Broadcast seeding will be done at double the drill rate. <br /> The complete original pastureland seeding report produced by the US Dept. of Agriculture <br /> Natural resources Conservation Service (MRCS) is attached to this report. It is anticipated that <br /> the seed mix and broadcast rates will be applicable to the amended permit application. <br /> A breakdown in the reclamation areas and land uses can be seen in Table E-3. <br /> Table E-3 Reclamation Areas <br /> Description <br /> Access/Gas Well Pads 6.5 Acres <br /> Reclaimed Pastureland 74.34 Acres <br /> Undisturbed 99.76 Acres <br /> Total Permit Area _ 180.6 Acres <br /> 4. Post-Reclamation Site Drainage <br /> Map F-1 shows arrows indicating the approximate direction of drainage throughout the pit. The <br /> reclaimed pit areas will all drain internally. Runoff will infiltrate and evaporate. <br /> 5. Weed Control <br /> Measures will be employed for the control of any noxious weed species.
