EXHIBIT L <br /> RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE (revised 7/13/18) <br /> The following information depicts a worse case scenario when <br /> it would be most expensive to reclaim the site in the first ten <br /> (10) year after mining starts . This reclamation cost estimate is <br /> based on mining starting in the old Plant Site area and when the <br /> peninsula between the small lake and the larger lake has been <br /> mined and mining has been started on a portion of the west lake <br /> starting at the western end of the pre-law dirt pile . The Map <br /> Exhibit L - Reclamation Cost Map shows that on the west side of the mined <br /> area the old Plant site covers 12 . 33 acres, historically used as <br /> an industrial and Concrete Batch Plant area, 1 . 57 acres is pre- <br /> law area and 0 . 50 acres has needs resoiling and seeding along <br /> where new lake area was created. The post 1981 lake area at this <br /> time covers 14 . 45 acres, 8 . 54 acres is pre-law dirt pile and 0 . 96 <br /> acres of reclaimed lake shores on the northeast and south part of <br /> lake shore for a total of 38 . 35 acres ± . In the 0 . 5 acres to be <br /> reclaimed is 350 feet of working face needing grading to 3h: ly <br /> the 25 . 0 foot wide revegetation area where the working face <br /> grading will be needed. <br /> Some old equipment and old concrete rubble will need to be <br /> disposed of by hauling to a disposal site or scrap yard, in the <br /> case of metal . The concrete pads would remain for use by the <br /> landowner as a base for sheds or building they may choose to <br /> construct at a later date . The old concrete wash out area will <br /> remain since it will be the base for the boat ramp and beach <br /> area . <br /> The plan is to grade the final lake slopes as mining pro- <br /> gresses so we expect to have no more then 350 linear feet of <br /> sloping and 0 . 50 acres or less of resoiling and seed that would <br /> need to be done . Due to the depth of the lake this would involve <br /> pushing approximately 2 , 016 cy of material into the lake to <br /> create the 3 : 1 slope along the working face . We estimate that <br /> 401 yards of soil will be needed to resoil the 0 . 5 acres with 6 <br /> inches . No additional material would need to be imported since <br /> the material would come from the area above the working face for <br /> grading it and from growth medium piles on site at this time . <br /> This is an attempt to set the bond so there is flexibility <br /> to operate the mine without reevaluating the bond yearly over the <br /> next 10 years . A SWSP will be maintained so there is enough <br /> water available to cover evaporative losses as mining progresses . <br /> Using this plan, the actual grading costs go down as the lake <br /> 62 (revised 8/10/2018) <br />
