into the unnamed drainage east of the mine site. Sediment deposits were observed along the road as well as within
the unnamed drainage.

Pre-existing rilling and gullies along Chen’s Hill was observed to have additional erosion. Other erosional features
along the East and West Pits also experienced additional erosion as well but to a much lesser degree. Sediment
deposition from the East and West Pit areas were observed just at the base of the slope along thei r respected
shallow drainages. The majority of the East and West areas drain northeast where it reports to the drainage with
concrete drop structures. As noted in previous inspection reports, these drop structures are no longer functional
however, no additional major erosion was observed along this drainage.
No issues were identified that could result in public health and safety concerns or damage to the environment as a
result of this storm event. The potential dangers to public health, safety and the environment at the site, as of the date
of this inspection, continue to be minimized to the extent possible. The distance to any perennial stream from the GEC
mine is significant, minimizing the potential for sediment derived from this storm event to cause significant off-site
damage. Additionally, the GEC Mine is not located near or above any urbanized areas, communities, occupied
dwellings, schools or other public or commercial buildings and facilities.

Route water entered the unnamed drainage.
