Revegetation Assessment-Revised
Guanella Reservoir
Clear Creek County,Colorado
The seeding should take place in the fall before the ground freezes over. Immediately after seeding, the
site should be mulched using a certified weed-free hay mulch at 2 tons per acre and a tackifier added to
prevent the loss of soil. After seeding, the area would be inspected to determine if noxious weeds are
growing. If weeds are growing, appropriate noxious weed-control methods would be used.
References
Baumberg, S. 2018. Evaluation Report Review Reclamation on the Guanella Ranch.
