(b) On lands proposed for future mining. <br /> (c) Within depressed haulage roads or final cuts while such roads or final cuts are being used or <br /> made. <br /> (d) Where permanent pools or lakes have been formed. <br /> (e) On any affected land, so long as the chemical and physical characteristics of the surface and <br /> immediately underlying materials of such affected land are toxic, deficient in plant nutrients, or <br /> composed of sand, gravel, and cannot feasibly be remedied by chemical treatment, fertilization, <br /> replacement of overburden, or like measures. <br /> (10) Adverse characteristics of the surface and the substitution of alternative areas: <br /> The Applicant understands where adverse characteristics of the surface exist, and it is not feasible <br /> to remedy by artificial measures, substitute acres may be reclaimed. The Applicant does not <br /> intend to substitute acres for reclamation. <br /> 3.1.11 Buildings and Structures: <br /> The main access road will be left as part of the post mining land use. There are no buildings on site <br /> and none are planned. <br /> 3.1.12 Signs and Markers: <br /> (1) Facility entrance sign: <br /> The Applicant will post a sign at the point of access off US Highway 24 to include the following: <br /> • The name of the Operator; <br /> • a statement that a reclamation permit for the operation has been issued by the Colorado <br /> Mined Land Reclamation Board; and <br /> • the permit number. <br /> (2) Affected area boundary markers: <br /> Suitable markers, such as painted t-posts or marker posts, will be used where fence lines do not <br /> exist. <br /> (3) Alternative methods of affected area boundary identification: <br /> Please see section 3.1.12 (2) above. <br /> This ends the requirements of Section 3.1, Reclamation Performance Standards.
