as a maximum allowing for dumps, topsoil stockpiles, and storage of materials which must
be "replaced" in the disturbed areas per the USFS Operating Guidelines for Poo 092815.
6.3.2 a
For a detailed description of the vegetation and soil characteristics in the area of the
proposed disturbance, please refer to the USFS biological and environmental evaluations on
file with the DRMS and USFS South Park Ranger District offices. Additionally, please refer to
a soil report appended to this Exhibit B (ref.: Custom Soil Resource Report for Pike National
Forest, Eastern Part, Colorado, Parts of Douglas, El Paso,Jefferson, and Teller Counties for
the "Ten Percenter", 27 October 2015, USDA- NRCS).
6.3.2 b
No permanent man-made structures exist within two hundred (200)feet of the boundary of
the Ten Percenter Claim, and therefore there are no such structures within two hundred
(200)feet of any of the potentially affected areas.
6.3.2 c
Crystal Creek is situated approximately 2,500 to 2,900 feet southwest of and 200 to 360 feet
lower than the potentially affected areas within the Ten Percenter Claim. There is one, dry
drainage that cuts to the west-southwest across the northern portion of the claim that
might drain to Crystal Creek. There is little evidence of surface flow over the past few years
of abnormally high precipitation. None of the excavations will be within 100 feet laterally or
40 feet vertically of the bottom of this drainage. No streams, springs, lakes, stock water
ponds, ditches, reservoirs, or aquifers will receive drainage directly from any of the
excavations on the Ten Percenter Claim. None of the trenches will produce any drainage or
discharge of any type.
None of the excavations will penetrate the water table, as the water table; even at its
shallowest point, is projected to be greater than 15 feet below surface (ref.: Custom Soil
Resource Report for Pike National Forest, Eastern Part, Colorado, Parts of Douglas, El Paso,
Jefferson, and Teller Counties for the "Ten Percenter", 270ctober 2015, USFS-N RCS
attached).
Beaver Creek is situated approximately 1,800 to 2,200 feet northeast and from 40 feet
above to 40 feet below the potentially affected areas within the Ten Percenter Claim. No
drainages, creeks, springs, or other waterways drain towards Beaver Creek from the Ten
Percenter Claim area.
6.3.2 d
Since this is a 110(2) Limited Impact Operation, a wildlife statement is not required. The
entire Ten Percenter Claim was evaluated and released by the USFS for prior versions of
Poo (MPO) 092815.
Reclamation Permit Application for Ten Percenter Claim BLM CMC254209
USFS File Code 2810,USF5 MPO-2018-004
