As the soils in this area are quite thin and contain a large
percentage of weathered bedrock, the appearance of the surface soils over the reclaimed
excavations may appear scant, but the materials will be replaced in their entirety.
6.3.4. (1) (c) (ii)
Reseeding will be conducted in late autumn each season to take advantage of winter moisture
and to ensure good spring growth in accordance with Forest Service recommendations. The use of fertilizer is not anticipated.
6.3.4.
