6.3.3 (1) (1)
Excavation will not intersect the water table nor will it impinge on any watercourses or surface
waters. No water rights will be affected in any manner by the proposed operations.
6.3.3 (1) (k)
Refuse should not be encountered or generated nor will acid- or toxic -producing materials be
produced from the excavation of the proposed localities.
6.3.3 (1) (1)
Due to the very limited nature and small footprint of the proposed disturbance, no impact to
the hydrological balance is anticipated nor likely.
6.3.3 (1) (m)
No processing of mineral specimens will occur on site. Specimens may be sprayed with small
quantities of potable water for initial evaluation, but cleaning, cobbing, and specimen
preparation will occur off site.
6.3.3 (1) (n)
The primary production commodities from the Ten Percenter have historically included
amazonite (a blue to blue-green colored microcline feldspar), smoky quartz, cleavlandite (a
white variety of albite, a sodium -rich plagioclase feldspar), fluorite, apatite, phenakite,
col umbite-tantalite, and topaz. These minerals occur in such small quantities (10's to 100's of
pounds) that the only economical use for them is as specimens for mineral collectors.
There is the potential form some secondary usage of these same minerals as bulk material for
lapidary enthusiasts.
The expected production is totally unknown, but will very likely not exceed 1,000 pounds of
mineral specimens. Although, if a large miarolitic cavity is discovered, production could easily
double.
6.3.3 (1) (o)
No explosives will be used at this time. If blasting becomes necessary, work will be postponed
in that area until the necessary permits are received and licensed explosives contactors hired.
6.3.3 2
No tailings will be generated by the proposed operations. No tailings ponds, impounds, or
dams will be constructed.
Reclamation Permit Application for Ten Percenter Claim BLM CMC254209
USFS File Code 2810, USFS MPO-2018-004
