Reclamation Permit Amendment Package AM -01
Dear Mr. Larsen:
On June 7, 2018, the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety received the Construction Material Regular (112)
Operation Reclamation Permit Amendment Application package for the Fletcher/Vale Pit, File No. M-2002-119.
A preliminary review of the information received determined that the following items must be received before
the Division can consider the application submitted and technical review can begin:

Per Rule 6.1.2
General Requirements
(1) This Rule provides for the guidelines for, and information requirements of, each Exhibit
required to be submitted with the permit application, as specified according to Section 6.1.
(2) Maps and Exhibits
Maps, except the index map, must conform to the following criteria:
(d) identify and outline the area which corresponds with the application;
In the Introduction to the permit application, 31.7 acres is noted as well as in all of the
maps submitted in Appendix 2 C 1-3 Maps. The correct amount of acreage is 31.5 acres.
The current acreage approved by the Division is 23.5. The amendment application states
that the Operator would like to add in an additional 8 acres. Please update the first page
