Precise
inventories are maintained for all of our explosives, daily use and in coming
future supplies.
We have three crew members attending the monthly Front Range Mine Rescue
training team at the Edgar Mine in Idaho Springs. We will engage the FRMR
Team as a rescue team. The Nederland Fire Department, located right at the
bottom of the Caribou Road will be our first responder in the event of an
emergency call. They are 15 minutes from the mine. We are inviting them up for
a full site and mine tour in early June. We will also notify the Henderson Mine
rescue team of our start-up.
Our second escape-way to surface is 100 percent maintained and ready for use
if needed.
We maintain a refuse station near our work areas with emergency drinking
water, food, first aid and related items.
No work will be conducted on lower levels of the mine. This small scale program
will only take place on the tunnel level of the mine as the attached map
indicates.
I'm now starting my Wh non-stop year working at the Cross Mine. I will be the
head miner for this project, I will have up to two helpers underground. We will
have one/two full time surface workers. I will also be conducting from time to
time additional underground training this summer.
We would like to call for an MSHA Compliance inspection for the week of June
11, 2018.
