The embankments appeared stable and the spillways were <br />clear of obstructions. <br />The East Pond embankment had some vegetation starting to sprout and the erosion wattles were in place. <br />The silt fences and erosion wattles along the entrance road were in place. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3), Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4), Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and <br />(6)/4.03.2(5) and (6), Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> King II haul road was well maintain and being watered. <br /> <br />King I road was well maintained and the entrance gate was closed upon arrival. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The vegetation reference area was marked with appropriate signs and flagging tape (photo 6). <br /> <br />REVEGETATION – Rule 4.15 <br />Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Many thistle rosettes were noted in the east clear water ditch (CWD-2). Mine personnel were sent to dig <br />up the rosettes. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> Topsoil signs were in place. <br /> <br />Disturbance area markers were in place. <br /> <br />TOPSOIL – Rule 4.06 <br />Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> Some white top plants were noted on the King I topsoil pile that need to be treated. <br /> <br /> <br />ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE <br /> <br />No enforcement actions were initiated as a result of this inspection, nor are any pending. <br />
