Wade Wymore of GCC Energy was present for the entire inspection. The
weather conditions were overcast and warm. The ground was dry and the temperature was approximately 75F.
AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION – Rule 4.17:
No fugitive dust was seen. A water truck was spraying the mine roads.

AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1):
All required records were on file and available for review at the mine office. No problems were noted
with the records review. Please see the availability of records checklist at the end of this report.

HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05
Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10;
Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13;
Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18:
King II-
In the last inspection report, DRMS and GCC searched for a leak with a bore scope in the Pond 1 western spillway
pipe. A leak was not found. GCC continued the search and may have found the leak. It appears that a pipe joint
separated below the inlet structure where the horizontal pipe leaves the concrete base. GCC has repaired the
suspected leak with foam and a tar sealant (photo 1). Pond 1 did not contain water to check the repair.
The ditch below the pond 1 outlet pipe (Ditch CWD-1A) has been cleaned (photo 2).
The Yard Drop (C9), Substation Drop (C10) and Screen Drop (C8) were free of obstructions.
The inlets to culverts C5 (photo 3) and C13 need to be cleaned.

King I -
The old culvert that was noted in the East Pond embankment has been sealed with foam to prevent discharge
through that pipe.
Reach 7 culverts have been cleaned and are clear of obstructions (photo 4).
