Colowyo Coal Company L.P.
III. Phase 11 Areas Summary of Reclamation and Management
A. General Description
As shown on Map 1, each area requested for bond release is comprised of smaller units, which
correspond to the specific year that backfilling, grading and reseeding were performed. The
work completed includes regrading to the approved post -mining topography, topsoil
replacement, and seeding with the approved seed mix. Grading and topsoil replacement was
generally performed in the summer and fall months and seeding occurred in the fall. The
following table presents when each reclamation parcel was topsoiled and seeded. Phase I bond
release has been granted on all parcels being applied for Phase II.
Area
Total Acres
Topsoiled
(Year)
Seeded
(Year)
WPO12/013
3.97
2002
2006
WPO14
49.4
2009
2009
WPO15
j 101.8
2010
2010
WPO16
131.7
2011
2011
WPO17
12.6
2013
2013
WPO18
30.7
2013
2013
WPO19
22.1
2013
2013
WP020
95.8
2013
2013
EP045
7.2
2003
2006
EP046
96.2
2005
2005
EP047
1 1.9
2006
2006
EP048
3.0
2006
2006
EP049
; 4.0
3
2006
2006
EP050
84.3
2006
2006
EP051
i 31.2
2007
2007
EP052 1
34.8
2009
2009
EP053
17.2
2010
2011
EP054
17.4
2010
2010
EP055
8.8
2010
2010
EP057
68.3
2012
2012
B.
