Exhibit I SOILS
The soils information for the entire mine are found in the Soils
Report information. It was downloaded From the Natural Resources
Conservation Service - Soil Web Survey found at
https : //websoilsurvey.nres .usda.gov/z/ . Two of the soils were
described in the information supplied by the NRCS Kremmling Field
Office in June 1994 . A large scale Soils and Vegetation map, Map
Exhibit C-2 Soils &Vegetation, is included on Page 2 of 2 of the map plats
supplied in this application. During operations of the existing
mine, an average of 12 inches of usable soil has been stripped
and saved for seedbed preparation. This has provided enough
material to resoil the existing seeded area with an average of 6
inches . The same results are expected in the expansion area.
Exhibit J VEGETATION
The vegetation growing on the site is the same as described in
the NRCS report of 1995 . The typical vegetation found on the
undisturbed area of the mine include but are not limited to
Bluebunch wheatgrass, Big Sagebrush, Bottlebrush squirreltail,
Western wheatgrass, Needleandthread, Indian ricegrass, Prairie
June grass, Green needlegrass, Nodding Brome, Elk sedge, Blue
wildrye, Slender wheatgrass, Arizona fescue, Rocky Mtn Juniper,
and Pinyon Pine .
