Exhibit G WATER INFORMATION.
This is a dry mining operation so no ground water will be
encountered. Typically 3 to 5 acre feet of water is used for
dust control each year and is hauled to the site from a source
owned by Grand County near Kremmling, Colorado.
The following text is the 1995 information from permit
application that remains unchanged.
The mining of this site is not expected to impact
surface or groundwater in the area. The gravel pit is
located at the upper end of the drainage basin and has
had no opportunity to concentrate into draws or
streams . The three to one slopes are to be seeded and
mulched with straw or hay that will be disced into the
soil to resist erosion. Any erosion that does occur
will be deposited in the two percent area at the base
of the slopes . Surface waters exiting the site will
suffer no degradation over the pre-mined site .
No impact is expected to subsurface waters .
14
