PROJECT DELIVERABLES: <br />• Evaluation of the existing screening building and conveyor tube sections <br />• Digitize the applicable drawings as required <br />• The project design set shall be provided electronically and also stored and submitted on <br />CD. Each paper set shall be accompanied by one CD stored set. <br />• The project design set shall, at a minimum, contain the following items. <br />Title Sheet <br />Building layouts and elevations <br />Plan and Profile sheets <br />Foundation sheets <br />Quantity Summary sheets <br />Standards sheets (if used) <br />Mechanical layouts <br />General Electrical Layout <br />Construction Specifications <br />Detailed construction drawings <br />Equipment specification sheets (for loading system if applicable) <br />THE DESIGN CONSULTANT SHALL INCLUDE IN THEIR PROPOSAL: <br />• The number of drawing sheets and a description of each sheet which they estimate to be <br />included in the Final Design drawing set. <br />• The cost of providing the services as described in the Scope of Work <br />GENERAL DESIGN ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES <br />1. Design engineer's design shall comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, <br />regulations, codes, and ordinances. <br />2. Design engineer, sub -contractor and any other design engineer directed persons shall <br />comply with all Peabody Energy policies and procedures. <br />3. The Design engineer shall provide an estimated timeline with their bid. <br />4. Bidders are required to submit an itemized bid with price breakdowns in the supplied <br />template format. <br />5. Quotes are based on full project completion. Invoice cost is not to exceed project bid. Any <br />value over the bid cost requires a change of work quote, pending a change in the initial <br />project scope of work, followed by an approved purchase order prior to starting the <br />additional work. <br />6. The design engineer shall visit the work site prior to the submittal of the proposal and make <br />any necessary observations and/or measurements, and note any conditions under which <br />the work is to be performed. Extra compensation will not be allowed for failure to do so. <br />7. The Design engineer shall provide all material, equipment, insurance and supervision <br />required to complete the scope of work for the project. <br />8. Abide by all applicable Peabody Energy's attached Safety Policies and Procedures. <br />Owner Responsibilities: <br />L <br />
