PROPOSAL: <br />The Bidder shall prepare a proposal as described in the "Description of Work" Section of these <br />Documents. Bidders shall note that throughout these Specifications, and other documents, the <br />Owner has requested that specific information be supplied. Bidders shall take care to supply all <br />information requested and other information, as required in sufficient detail to allow the Owner <br />to fully evaluate the technical and economic aspects of the bidder's proposal. <br />GENERAL: <br />The scope of work is defined as the furnishing of all engineering services as outlined in the <br />description of work, and other paragraphs of this section necessary to complete the evaluation <br />and design for the construction of the secondary screening and truck loading system. <br />Exceptions and exclusions to the scope of work shall be explicitly noted in the proposal. A price <br />schedule has been included for bidding purposes. <br />DETAIL SCOPE OF WORK <br />PRELIMINARY SITE EVALUATION <br />The design consultant's responsibility shall include: <br />• Complete a site visit to gain familiarity with the scope and location of the project. <br />• Complete a visual inspection of the screening building and the tube sections of the <br />conveyor gantry that will be reused. <br />WILLIAM'S FORK SCREENING BUILDING EVALUATION <br />The existing drawings of the screening building and conveyor tube sections are scanned images <br />of original 1984 prints and will be made available to the design engineer on a CD. The required <br />drawings shall be converted to CAD drawings as needed. <br />The building shall be evaluated for structural stability as needed when incorporated into the <br />design of the system. <br />The screening building will be dismantled and piece marked for relocation to the Twentymile site <br />by a third party contractor. Due to the lack of an assembly drawing, elevation and floor <br />drawings will be marked to correspond to piece marks and be made available to match the shop <br />drawings. <br />SECONDARY SCREENING SYSTEM <br />SYSTEM COMPONENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />The following equipment and requirements of the system shall be incorporated into the design. <br />1. System capacity 500 tph feed rate <br />2. Feed Conveyor, The connecting conveyor will be a tube conveyor gantry with two <br />options of either 150' or 200' (Continental Conveyor drawings ) <br />a. 500 tph <br />b. Belt Width 48" <br />c. Speed 350 ft/min <br />d. Idlers 35° troughing idlers on 5ft centers, flat returns on 1 Oft centers <br />3 <br />
