The point bar consists of 10 lasers
supported on an adjustable tripod, projected downwards to the ground surface. The lasers are spaced 10 cm apart
along a 1 meter long bar. 10 data points were collected every 2 Meters along a 10 Meter long transect, starting at
1 M. The sample points were set up in a grid within the sample universe. Every odd number point was collected
up until #57. This provided 27 sample able points. One point was unusable due to extreme steepness and danger
to the sampling crew. Three random even sample points were chosen from the grid using the second hand of a
watch. The Division collected a minimum of 30 cover transects.

Cover data was collected based on first hit of the laser and identified to vegetation species, rock, litter, or bare
ground.

Herbaceous production was collected by clipping all vegetative biomass falling within a 1 Meter square quadrat
located at Meter 3 on the right side of the cover transect tape. The Division did not clip shrubs or noxious weeds.
All other herbaceous vegetation was clipped and compiled into one bag per quadrat. The vegetative biomass will
be dried in a 100 C oven once the crew returns to the office, prior to weighing.

A vegetation report will be written up once all the data is compiled and summarized..

DOCUMENTS RECEIVED NA
OTHER (SPECIFY) NA
ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS/COMPLIANCE

The permit has been revoked and all remaining bond monies have been exhausted on reclamation
tasks on the site.
