Response 3:
The text on page 2 is accurate and proposed wells will be drilled to bedrock and
screened within the alluvium/colluvium. The figures presented in the technical
revision submission provided an overview in an effort to demonstrate the location of
the monitoring wells, not the depth. Please see attached Figure 5.Z which depicts a
zoomed in view of monitoring well PGMW-3 drilled to bedrock.
Comment 4: Figure 6
The plan on page 2 states "the monitoring wells will be drilled to bedrock" implying that will
be screened in the alluvium. However, Figure 6 (PGMW-4 Cross Section) shows the
monitoring well extending well into the Precambrian bedrock. Please explain this
discrepancy and clarify what formation(s) will be screened. If the deeper completion depth is
shown simply to make it easier to see on the figure, please include an inset figure using a
larger scale to show the intent is to complete the well in the shallow alluvium/colluvium.
The text on page 2 is accurate, and the proposed wells will be screened within the
alluvium/colluvium.
