On April 13, 2018, CC&V received <br /> Preliminary Adequacy Review comments from the Division of Reclamation, Mining and <br /> Safety's (DRMS). Please see the responses below to address the outstanding adequacy concerns, <br /> DRMS' comments in italics with Newmont's response to comments in bold. <br /> Comment 1: Figures 1 through 4 <br /> These proposed wells appear to be intended as compliance wells for the monitoring <br /> groundwater in Poverty Gulch. The most recent amendment approved by the Division <br /> was AM-12 which altered the affected area/permit boundary in Poverty Gulch, yet the <br /> maps reference the AM-11 boundary. Please correct the permit boundary in these <br /> figures to include the approved AM-12 boundary or explain why it is not appropriate to <br /> do so. <br />
