A total of 111.7 liters [149.3 kilograms (kg)] of feature fill was subjected to flotation (Table <br />5). The resulting heavy and light fractions were returned to Tetra Tech for processing and analysis <br />using standard techniques as outlined by Miller (1988). The heavy fraction was visually inspected <br />using a mounted and lighted magnifying glass. All light fraction was visually inspected using both <br />a digital and 10X binocular microscope. Any encountered potential artifacts were then analyzed <br />according the appropriate artifact class. The results of each artifact's analysis were recorded in <br />the appropriate spreadsheet. Macrofossil identifications were made using seed/plant reference <br />manuals (ex. Martin and Barkley 1961). <br />Table 6.
