Topsoil:
• Topsoil includes stripping, stockpiling and replacing with no import included.
• Topsoil Stripping at 59,460 cy includes the stripping of 12" in farm fields and 6" in all other
locations containing topsoil,
• Of the 59,460 cys approximately 18,500 will be required on the slopes. The balance of
approximately 41,960 cys will be loaded, hauled and stockpiled by Subcontractor near
county road intersections along the project for removal by others. Erosion control for
stockpiles, if required, will be by others.
Storm Drain:
• 12" Riprap includes 6"of Class A Filter and Geotextile Fabric.
• All RCP pipe is Class III.
• Bedding is priced as imported pit material, figured to spring-line.
• RCP flared end sections include an 8" Toewall(reinforced),per WCR-49 IFC details.
• One of the 48"x76" RCPE includes removal of two (2) existing flared end sections and
connecting to the existing pipes (per the profile view notes). Concrete collars were assumed
for the connections.
• Headwalls are included in the Concrete CL B bid item.
Irrigation Structures:
• All irrigation work must be completed during the irrigation no-flow season. The no-flow
season is anticipated to occur between November 1, 2017 and March 15, 2018, but is subject
to change per landowner requirements.
• Irrigation gates and steel grates have been included in the Concrete CL B item.
Irrigation Piping:
• All irrigation work must be completed during the irrigation no-flow season. The no-flow
season is anticipated to occur between November 1, 2017 and March 15, 2018, but is subject
to change per landowner requirements.
• All RCP pipe is Class Ili. Plastic pipe is figured as PIP (Plastic Irrigation Pipe), rated at
80psi.
• Bedding for all RCP is priced as imported pit material, figured to spring-line.
• Bedding for plastic pipe is priced as imported pit material, figured to 12"over the pipe.
• RCP flared end sections include an 8"Toewall (reinforced),per WCR-49 IFC details.
Base Course Geotextile Reinforcement:
• All base material is priced from the J2 Pit on WCR-58.
• J2's price increase for material has been included.
• All base items for Class 6 are combined.
• Subgrade for PCCP is to be grade ready to pave.
• Subgrade for Asphalt paving is to be grade ready to pave.
• A 6ft paver track line is included in the Aggregate Base Course(Class 6).
• Class 7 material shall be used for shouldering base.
• Geotextile (Subgrade Reinforcement) is a partial item that includes installation only.
