SCHEDULE B TO SUBCONTRACT <br /> SUBCONTRACT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> BY AND BETWEEN <br /> INTERSTATE HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION, INC. <br /> AND <br /> AMES CONSTRUCTION,INC. <br /> ORIGINAL IHC JOB# 3097—CHANGE ORDER#2 <br /> IHC JOB# 3097A <br /> 1. IHC project # 3097A is a Change Order that falls under Weld County Roads Project # B1400202 <br /> which is a Design Build Contract. Change Order #2 is not a Contractor design build and has been <br /> designed by Weld County with a Schedule of Values. This Change Order will be paid and <br /> administrated by Contractor as a Lump Sum Contract in the amount of which is based <br /> on a bid set of drawings dated 3/17/17 produced by Weld County. The only exception being quantity <br /> overruns or undemms on Topsoil based on : , cys at ; per cy and Muck Excavation based on <br /> per cy which will be adjusted on a unit price basis. <br /> 2. Interim monthly payments will be based on percent complete. <br /> 3. If significant changes are made in the issuance of the RFC drawings,Ames will be provided the <br /> opportunity to negotiate these changes in good faith with Weld County. <br /> 4. Subcontractor has included all mobilizations required to support its work. <br /> 5. The following are clarifications relating to Subcontractors items of work: <br /> Removal Items: <br /> • Clearing and grubbing includes vegetation, bushes, trees, stumps, and concrete rubble <br /> found in the ditches. All other removals and demolition by others. <br /> • Removal of structures primarily includes existing irrigation structures and headwalls, <br /> driveway bridges and flared end sections. <br /> • Removal of Asphalt Mat is based on 8" average depth; removed in chunks, hauled and <br /> dumped at the Weld County Maintenance Yard on WCR 60-1/2 for free. <br /> • Removal of CTB includes the removal and/or reclamation of the anticipated 12" thick layer <br /> of Cement Treated Base, located under existing WCR-47. The material will be processed and <br /> re-used as embankment in accordance with project requirements. No off-site removal or <br /> placement in specific areas of the embankments is included. It is priced to process the <br /> material in-situ and place in the nearest fill. <br /> Earthwork: <br /> • Unclassified Excavation and Embankment includes 43,400 cubic yards of 8"MDC(subgrade <br /> preparation),per General Note#I I of the plans. <br /> • Construction water to be obtained from the fire hydrants on the southern end of the project. <br /> • Muck Excavation includes excavation and offsite waste, furnish and install fabric and <br /> importing borrow dirt material. <br /> • Import of required additional embankment is included in Embankment Material (CIP). <br /> Schedule B To Subcontract Pagel of 3 <br />
