The
Site is currently a permitted gravel mine that has seen minimal use over the past 15 years. Central
Colorado Water Conservancy District(CCWCD)currently uses the Site for insitu water storage to store their
changed water rights. The slurry wall leak test was approved in 2008 and CCWCD has used the water
storage since 2008 or slightly thereafter. An updated leak test was performed in January 2015.
The miner intends to start mining at a greater rate in the next 6 months and intends to mine the Phase 1
area in the next 3 to 5 years. Attached is a copy of the proposed mining plan, mining plan map and a copy
of the updated bond estimate and a letter discussing the slurry wall.
Sincerely,
CIVIL RESOURCES, LLC
I'
Andy Rodriguez, P.E.
cc: Mark Johnson, Bestway Concrete and Aggregate Inc.
Encl:
Slurry Wall letter
Updated Reclamation cost
Approved Slurry Wall Letter post repair
Mining Plan Map
JABestway-2131nissWtechnica1 revision7R-1 M2003-001.doc
o n o r ,--r , c-..-.'-r--r. o n o r,., con . cr,--..--, .-. n-, r,-. r..-, o n c o n . o .-.. -• n o i n s c . r ..• ono 0 0 o n o c n
