The well permit file indicates that the well was completed on <br /> August 2, 1968 to a total depth of 72 feet for domestic uses. The well log in the permit file <br /> indicates the borehole for the well encountered soil, clay, "rock", "water sand" and shale. <br /> The permit application for the well indicated alluvium as the proposed aquifer for the well. <br /> The type-written address on the application indicates an address in Colorado Springs while <br /> handwriting on the application indicates an address in Fountain, Colorado. The address on <br /> the application does not coincide with any present-day address in Colorado Springs or <br /> Fountain, Colorado. No other location, subdivision or address information is available in <br /> the permit record. <br /> As stated in the permit application, the well has been left on the maps out of an abundance <br /> of caution.
