Transit Mix will submit for <br /> Division review the data and results as a technical revision or amendment. <br /> 15. As stated in the Recommendations section of Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry Waste Stockpile <br /> Stability Analyses, dated August 29, 2017, please commit to reviewing and revising the <br /> engineering designs using the site specific data as needed prior to construction, and <br /> submit the engineering designs report for Division review and approval through either the <br /> technical revision or amendment process, to occur subsequent to the issuance of the <br /> permit. <br /> Response: Transit Mix commits to revising the geotechnical assessment with the site- <br /> specific information. Transit Mix will submit for Division review the data and results as a <br /> technical revision or amendment. <br /> 16. As stated in the Recommendations section of Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry Waste Stockpile <br /> Stability Analyses, dated August 29, 2017, please commit to managing the upstream <br /> surface water run-on above the stockpile to limit infiltration and erosion, and submit all <br /> changes to the water management plan for Division review and approval through either <br /> the technical revision or amendment process, to occur subsequent to the issuance of the <br /> permit. <br /> Response: Transit Mix commits to managing upstream surface run-on to limit erosion and <br /> infiltration. Transit Mix will submit any changes in the water management system to the <br /> Division as a technical revision or amendment. <br /> 17. As stated in the Recommendations section of Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry Waste Stockpile <br /> Stability Analyses, dated August 29, 2017, please commit to reviewing and updating the <br /> stability analysis to evaluate the difference in parameters and determine any adjustments <br /> to the analysis once the final site conditions, construction design, placement method, and <br /> monitoring plans are in place, and submit the updated stability analysis report for <br /> Division review and approval through either the technical revision or amendment <br /> process, to occur subsequent to the issuance of the permit. <br /> Response: Transit Mix commits to revising the geotechnical assessment with the site- <br /> specific information, final site conditions, construction details, and monitoring plans and <br /> submitting the information to the Division for review as a technical revision or amendment. <br /> Hitch Rack Ranch Pit Wall Geotechnical Assessment: <br /> 18. In 3.7.2 Faulting section of the geotechnical assessment, the Applicant states additional <br /> mapping and drilling is a requirement as the quarry design is advanced in order to <br /> confirm the orientation and quality of the seams/potential faults and the effect on pit wall <br /> design through the various pit phases.
