(1) Differences in production between 1979 and 1980 range sites are likely the result of greater than
average precipitation received in the spring of 1980.
(2) In 1979 in range site (C), production was determined from all current annual growth, i.e. shrubs,
forbs, and gasses; while the 1980 production was determined from herbaceous vegetation. Herbaceous
vegetation was sampled in range sites A and B in both 1979 and 1980.
