February 27, 2018 C-1996-083/Bowie No. 2 Mine CCW <br /> <br /> <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 7 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> <br /> Page 5 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> The Utilities bench was vis ited. The bench was partly covered with snow. There were no signs of <br />instability or erosional issues. The ac cess road was in good repair and there was a small amount of water flowing <br />through the diversion ditch paralleling the road. <br /> <br />The D Portals bench was well maintained and organized. The bench was partly covered with snow. The pad was <br />in good condition and there were no indications of erosion. <br /> <br />The B Portals Bench was partially covered with snow during the inspection. The bench was in goo d condition and <br />well kept. There were no erosional issues noted. <br /> <br />The Coal Stockpile Pad had a small amount of snow on it. The pad no longer has any coal stockpiled on it. The <br />pad was in good condition and there were no erosional issues observed. <br /> <br />The wash plant area was muddy at the time of the inspection. There site was in good repair and there was a <br />minimal amount of rutting. There were not any erosional features observed. <br /> <br />SIGNS AND MARKERS – Rule 4.02: <br /> The required mine identification signs were observed to the right of the entrance to the site. The signs <br />displayed the correct information about the operator and the Division. <br /> <br /> <br />DOCUMENTS RECEIVED: None <br />OTHER (SPECIFY): None <br /> <br />
