The <br />roads were in good condition and there were not any rills or ruts observed. <br /> <br />RECLAMATION SUCCESS - Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> The reclaimed benches at the East Mine (Photo 3) are on steep slopes. Little to no snow was seen on the <br />high elevation, south-facing slopes. There were no indications of erosion or instability. The majority of the East <br />Mine facilities are was included in the 2017, SL-6 Bond Release Application. The benches are well vegetated and <br />minimal amounts of sediment are transported from these areas during snowmelt or precipitation events. There was <br />not an excessive amount of sediment identified in the diversion ditches at the site. <br />The West Mine f acilities area (Photo 4) was partly covered with snow. There were no signs of instab ility or <br />erosion at the site. Most of the Wes t Mine facilities area was approved for Phase II release in 2016 with SL-5. <br />The ROM Area (Photo 5), als o know n as the Timber Storage Area, was mostly covered with snow. There were <br />not any indications of erosion or instability. 10.2 acres of the ROM Area were approved in SL-5 for Phase II <br />release.
