SOUTH FAN
The south fan reclaimed runoff was controlled by alternate sediment control
measures. Three silt fences were utilized at the reclaimed south fan area and
one silt fence was located at the reclaimed south fan borrow area. A grass filter
design is presented in Appendix 14 -6 beginning on page 147. The grass filter
design demonstrates the silt fences at the south fan bench, south fan pile no. 10,
south fan pile no. 11 and the south fan borrow area are no longer required.
2 WEST PORTALS
The reclaimed 2 West Portals are in a small confined area with minimal
disturbance. See Exhibit 58. Runoff from individual reclaimed areas associated
with the 2 portals, the reclaimed overburden stockpiles and the reclaimed
substation was controlled by berms and silt fences. Details of these controls are
presented in Table 13 -5 with back up calculations in Appendix 14 -6. A grass
filter design is presented in Appendix 14 -6 beginning on page 147. The grass
filter design demonstrates the silt fences at the reclaimed overburden stockpiles,
the reclaimed substation and the reclaimed north and south portals are no longer
required. The drainage channel between the two portals was permanently
relocated as shown on Exhibit 58.
CAMEO REFUSE DISPOSAL AREA 3 (CRDA 3)
The Operator does not plan to construct CRDA -3 since the mine has been
sealed.
TR -64 13 -14 (Rev 05/13)
