<br /> South Taylor Pit. <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br />Five mule deer were observed near the Prospect Pond. Of the five, four were mature bucks. <br /> <br />Mule deer. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The Prospect, Gulch A and Streeter Pond were inspected. All pond embankments were stable and well vegetated. <br />Only Prospect and Streeter held water but water levels were well below the primary discharge level. None of the <br />ponds were discharging at the time of the inspection. <br /> <br />Both the Temporary Facilities Pond and Wilson Storage Pond were inspected at the Collom temporary facility <br />area. Both ponds held water with no discharge. These ponds were just recently constructed in the summer of 2017 <br />so no major vegetative growth can be observed along the embankments. The embankments were stable and no <br />signs of instability or erosion were observed.
