f. Each successive phase of this amendment may require a gond adjustment by
DRMS, just as each successive (future) technical revision could change the
bond amount.
b. Supplemental Materials and On-going, Reporting
a. DBMS will receive annual reports of the reclamation and monitoring: required
"Annual reports and maps" summarizing information; discuss with DRMS
whether "annual Geotechnical reports" and maps can be discontinued.
7. Conclusions
a. DRMS has required HMC to develop an updated reclamation plan, in the form
of a permit amendment. This amendment is appropriate and necessary to
carry out the final reclamation and closure of the Pitch Project site.
b. Since not all standards or aspects of the overall reclamation can be identified
or defined at the present time, it is not possible for this amendment to address
all of the tasks which may be needed and carried out.
c. HMC and DRMS both recognize and agree that more content is still needed in
the amendment. HMC is including all possible known reclamation areas in
this current reclamation plan amendment. HMC commits to develop and
present additional reclamation plans via technical revisions of the reclamation
plan. In this manner HMC will be able to comply with the current
requirement imposed by DRMS and accomplish the longer-term need for fully
defining the remaining reclamation needs, and implementing them.
(end of Pitch pre -amendment outline)
