Construction material stockpile and Coal Mine Waste Pile
(3) Mine Facilities
The major surface facilities are all located east of East Salt Creek. The
Cameo Seam mine portals are located about 3,300 feet east of State
Highway 139 at an elevation of approximately 5610 feet where the Seam
outcrops.
(3)(a) Following is a discussion of the proposed mine facilities:
Figure 2.2-2 shows the location of buildings and other facilities. Figure 2.2-6 shows
buildings and other facilities located in the vicinity of the portal bench.
Portal Level
Crushing and Screening Building
The conveyor belt exits the mine and discharges into a crushing and
screening facility. This facility houses a 7 foot X 16 foot double deck screen
and a triple roll crusher. The crushing and screening building is a pre-
engineered steel building 30 feet X 20 feet with at 15 foot eave height. The
foundation for the crushing and screening facility is a concrete pad with wing
walls.
Transfer Belt
A 40 -foot long 48 -inch conveyor collects sized coal from the screen and
crusher and conveys the product to the stacking belt.
Radial Stacker Belt
The sized product from the crushing and screening facility is conveyed to a
coal stockpile by a 120 -foot 36 -inch radial stacker belt. The radial stacker
wheels are supported by a retaining wall and concrete runway.
Substation
The 3MV substation is supported by six concrete footers which are two feet
wide. A gravel surfaced fenced area approximately 12' wide X 40' long.
Shop
A pre-engineered metal building located on the portal level to store supplies
and to repair and fabricate equipment. The building is approximately 40 feet
by 80 feet with a 12 foot eave height.
PR -02 2.05-8- 10/12
