Colorado Backhoe Service Page 6
The Orr Pit- M-2009-074 Adequacy response #1
January 10, 2018
determination the two small wet areas from the pre-permit disturbance are non jurisdictional
wetlands. Please provide this letter as it has not been included in CN-01 materials.
A copy of the 2009 U.S . Army Corps of Engineers (USAGE) is
attached that shows there are not wetlands on the site. Also,
during a site visit last fall that Mr. Joseph had with Mr.
Steve Stratman the DWR' s local engineer and the USACE local
contact it was determined that the wet areas were created by
irrigation tailwater entering the property and not being
directed back to the river from an adjoining farm. Mr.
Stratman contacted the farmer and directed him to correct the
problem by returning the tail water flow into the return ditch
that flows to the river.
EXHIBIT I- Soils Information (Rule 6.4.9):
14. The Exhibit I narrative contains an acreage typo on page 23. Please revise 33.75 acres to 13.75
acres.
Thank you for catching this . Any changes or additions to the application on file in our office must also be reflected in the
public review copy. Please submit proof that the public review copy has been updated with a copy of
the response to this adequacy letter.
A copy of this response, your initial Adequacy Letter and the
revised exhibits and pages will be filed with the Pueblo
County Clerks Office and a copy of the filing receipt will be
provided for the file.
EXHIBIT S -Permanent Man-Made Structures (Rule 6.4.19):
17.
