The Division does not approve of the use of an asphalt or concrete lining for a <br />permanent diversion. (4.05.3(2)) <br />C. Stream Channel Diversions <br />1. Riprap channel lining is proposed for use to control erosion. The Division <br />approves this method of channel protection since it is necessary to control <br />erosion, it provides stability, and will require infrequent maintenance. <br />(4.05.4(2)(a)) <br />2. The permanent diversions shall make use of artificial structural controls in <br />order to allow them to remain in dynamic equilibrium with the drainage basin <br />system. The Division approves the use of such structures. (4.05.4(4)(b)) <br />D. Sedimentation Ponds <br />The Division does not propose to approve the submittal of reports required by <br />Rule 4.05.6(13) on other than a quarterly basis. The report submittal is <br />quarterly. <br />2. Alternative design criteria and specifications have not been approved for use in <br />sediment pond design and/or construction at this time. (4.05.6(l 1)) <br />E. Acid-forming and Toxic -forming Spoil <br />No specific approvals are granted under this section. <br />F. Impoundments <br />1. The applicant has not proposed the use of alternative design criteria and <br />specifications for impoundment design and construction. (4.05.9) <br />G. Surface and Ground Water Monitoring <br />1. The requirement for hydrologic monitoring has been terminated by Technical <br />Revision No. 16 (TR -16). <br />H. Transfer of Wells <br />1.
