The reclaimed area was dry <br />and stable at the time of the inspection. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Photo 2: The Waste Pile Pond was stable and in good <br />condition, no erosion was observed. <br /> <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The Haul Road at the East Mine was reduced in size and remains in place to support the post -mining land <br />use. The road was in good repair and no erosional features were identified. The water bars on the road were in <br />good condition and capable of functioning as designed. Access roads at the Paonia Loadout were in good <br />condition. There were no low spots or ponded water. <br /> <br />SLIDES and DAMAGE - Rule 4.12: <br /> During the spring of 2017, a minor slide occurred at the East Mine. The slide was located on the <br />reclaimed portals bench. During August of 2017, the slide was repaired. Reseeding on the repair area occurred in <br />October of 2017. The repaired area was observed to be stable during the inspection. There were no erosional <br />issues noted. The straw mulch placed on the site was in good condition and the rocks placed on top of the straw
