INTRODUCTION
Amendment M 2007-031
The Turquoise Connection Inc application for a 110 Limited Impact Permit for the
purpose of placer mining the Scott Blue II mining claim located approximately .075 miles
north of the city of Cripple Creek, CO in Teller County remains unchanged. Gravel from
the mine will be processed on site, for the expressed purpose of extracting gold and
turquoise minerals. The Scott Blue II mining claim is Parcel #1 and is approximately 1.7
acres in size.
The Amendment concerns reclamation activities for areas that were disturbed outside the
permit boundary, in violation of the permit terms and conditions. These reclamation
activities are planned for tax lots R0002263 (Edward and Evonne Lainio), R0002906
(Shannon Murphy), N0024741 (Shannon Murphy), and R0002627 and R0002738
(Cripple Creek Heights LLC). The area where reclamation is proposed, Parcel #2, is a 30
foot wide strip of land along the east, northeast and northwest permit boundaries. The
total area of Parcel#2 is approximately .6 acre.
In addition, tailings samples will be removed from Parcel #1 for analysis to determine if
other precious metals besides gold, can be mined from the claim.
