MANAGEMENT
November 17, 2017
Clayton Wein
Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203 RECEIVED
Re: Bowie Resources, LLC, Bowie No. 1 Mine
Partial Phase I & II bond release DEC 0 [017
Adequacy Response #1 Division of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
Dear Mr. Wein:
DRMS' letter dated November 7, 2017 transmitted its adequacy review for the referenced
adequacy response. On behalf of Bowie Resources LLC, following are its responses to the DRMS'
comment and concerns.
1. DRMS: Please include text with a summary of the changes made to the bond
release requests from the original requests stated on the application for SL -
6. The text should include the updated acreages requested for Phase I
release and for Phase II release. It would be good to include this for
documentation and to clarify the text on the cover letter of the application.
BRL: For the original submittal, dated June 30, 2017, an area of 59.4 acres was
included and a request was made for Phase II bond release of those areas. There
were no drill hole areas included in that number since it is unknown the area
associated with each drill hole. The 59.4 acres was based on the acreage
associated with Task 130 in the 2015 reclamation estimate and was not broken
out by reclaimed areas associated with each zone.
The revised area tabulation is based on what was approved with SI -04 and broken
out according to what received Phase I release at that time, and the same areas
are now being requested for Phase 11 release.
