4. Exhibit E—Reclamation Plan <br /> a. In the closure and final reclamation section, no reclamation activities are <br /> discussed for the May Day #2 area. The construction of a compacted temporary <br /> ore storage pad as well as fuel storage facilities with secondary containment is <br /> discussed in Exhibit D, as well as other places in the Adequacy Response. Please <br /> address what reclamation of the ore storage pad, the fuel storage areas and any <br /> other non-mobile structures will be required at the May Day#2 area. <br /> Response: The following reclamation activities for the May Day No. 2 area <br /> are listed in Exhibit E, Table E-3 of the Adequacy Response that was most <br /> recently submitted: <br /> Affected Area—3.3 acres <br /> Disturbed Area—0.5 acres <br /> Steepest Slope: 1:1.5 <br /> Reference Figure: Exhibit F Fig F-3 <br /> Top Soit/Growth Media (No topsoil available) <br /> Regrade: 1,900 yd' <br /> Regrade Disturbed Area: 0.5 acres <br /> Tilling/Acre: Minimal tilling <br /> Seed Mix: 10.4 pounds (Broad seeding) <br /> Mulch: 1-ton straw equivalent <br /> BMP <br /> Silt Fences: as necessary <br /> Wattles: 450 feet <br /> Rip Rap: as necessary <br /> Amendments—Dependent of growth media test results <br /> Rip Compacted Area: No ripping possible on Rock Slope <br /> One monitoring well will be plugged and abandoned in accordance <br /> with DWR regulations. <br /> In addition, the May Day No. 2 portal is currently collapsed and closed. No <br /> additional reclamation is contemplated. <br /> Initially, no Environment Protection Facilities including the construction of a <br /> compacted temporary ore storage pad as well as fuel storage facilities with <br /> secondary containment will be required at the May Day No. 2 area. It is <br /> expected that Environment Protection Facilities will be required in the <br /> future. Sunrise Mining, LLC commits that if Environment Protection <br /> Facilities are planned at the May Day No. 2 area, they will be addressed <br /> through the Technical Revision Process and reclamation activities will be <br /> included at that time. <br /> 3 <br />
