The mine is a reclaimed underground <br />mine. No mine personnel remain on the mine site. As such, the mine records are stored at the offices of J. E. <br />Stover and associates. Mine records were checked prior to the field inspection. <br /> <br />The weather was mild, dry and clear. The mine site was very dry with no indication of recent precipitation events. <br />Hunting season is active at the time of the inspection. The consultant did not know if the landowner had any <br />hunters on the site. Cattle were in the pasture between Salt Creek and the Munger Creek dip. No cattle were <br />located east of the dip. No vehicles were observed within the Munger Canyon Mine gate at the Salt Creek bridge. <br />No evidence of hunters were seen or heard. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS – Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records were checked at the offices of J. E. Stover and associates in Grand Junction. Records were <br />complete and up to date. Details regarding the records check is included at the end of this report. <br /> <br />EXCESS SPOIL and DEVELOPMENT WASTE – Rule 4.09 <br />Placement; Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization: <br /> The reclaimed excess material pile remains well vegetated with established sagebrush. No signs of <br />erosion features were observed on this reclaimed area. No new disturbance were noted. <br /> <br />FISH and WILDLIFE – Rule 4.18: <br /> One small 2 point buck Mule deer was observed on the reclaimed haul road. Sandhill cranes were heard <br />migrating high above the site. <br /> <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> There are no ponds or ditches remaining on the mine site. Runoff is controlled by surface roughness, <br />grading and vegetation establishment. Permanent drainages within the reclaimed area have held up well with no
