• Inspections <br /> • Spill Reporting Procedure <br /> • Other Hazardous Materials Present Onsite <br /> • Emergency Contact Information <br /> Copies of this Hazardous Materials Management Plan will be kept on file in the following <br /> locations: <br /> • Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry Administration Office <br /> • Aggregates Manager <br /> • Safety Director <br /> • The initial Hazardous Waste Management Plan is included as a component of the <br /> operations plan for the quarry. The Hazardous Materials Management Plan will be <br /> reviewed periodically for accuracy and to reflect current standards. Updated copies of the <br /> Hazardous Waste Management Plan will replace older versions in the three locations <br /> listed above. <br /> Facility Operations— <br /> Transit Mix Concrete Company will operate Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry as a crushed rock <br /> quarry. The facility will typically operate for 12 hours per day, 6 days per week. <br /> Production will start at 7:00 AM and cease at 7:00 PM. Products created onsite will <br /> include, but are not limited to, concrete gravel, base courses, asphalt rock, landscape <br /> rock, and rip rap. The final product will be transported to the market by over the road <br /> transport trucks. <br /> The major activities onsite will be aggregate mining using the surface mining method. <br /> This process will be supported by front end loaders and haulage trucks,processing via <br /> crushing and screening, and finished product storage and sales. All structures onsite are <br /> considered non-permanent structures and include: <br /> • Scale house/office building <br /> • Maintenance shop <br /> • Aggregate processing facility including stone crushers, screens, and <br /> conveyors <br /> • Parking areas for mining equipment and site personnel <br /> • Bulk storage containers for diesel, gasoline, oil, water, and sewage <br /> • Storm water and erosion control structures <br /> • Electrical facilities <br /> • Slope Monitoring System facility <br /> All mining equipment used on site for mining and final product sales activities will be <br /> parked onsite in a designated parking area or"ready line" adjacent to the maintenance <br /> shop in the plant area. <br />
