Fort Carson Road, Gate, and Fence <br /> Potential Impacts and Mitigation <br /> Potential Problem: Construction of the access road could damage the fence,gate, or the access road. <br /> Solution: All Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry access road construction will occur west of the fence and gate, <br /> and these structures will not be impacted. The westernmost portion of the Fort Carson access road will <br /> be impacted by construction of an acceleration lane, with all construction activities occurring within the <br /> Highway 115 right-of-way. This construction will not prevent use of the road or gate during or following <br /> construction; therefore, the structures on Fort Carson property will not be adversely impacted.
