19 September, 2017 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine RAR <br />throughout the site were located for good visibility and appeared in good repair. <br />o Blasting notification signs were placed according to rule 4.02.6. <br />ROADS- Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3) 14.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4) 14.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br />Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) 14.03.2(5) and (6); Reclamation 4.03.1(7) 14.03.2(7) <br />o Main haul roads in and around the site appeared stable and adequately <br />maintained. <br />o Roads were being watered. <br />o Access roads were adequately maintained, providing accessibility to the site. <br />All areas of the site were accessible. <br />o Wind borne dust rose off the roads, due to exceptionally high winds and <br />vehicular traffic. No evidence of offsite impacts were observed. <br />SL7PPORT FACILITIES — Rule 4.04 <br />o Support facilities, ready line and ash disposal area were visited. No issues <br />were noted at time of inspection. <br />o Scoria was being crushed and stockpiled. <br />Photo 2: Crushing and stockpiling scoria. <br />} <br />0 <br />o A dozer was operating at the ash pit. <br />o No low spots with the potential to hold water, nor surface cracks were noted <br />in the ash pit. A firm, smooth top surface was evident. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge <br />Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage- Acid and Toxic <br />Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18 <br />The pond systems observed included the Deal, East Flume, East Middle Flume, Middle Flume, <br />West Flume, Grouse, Horse, Oak Ponds, East Pyeatt, Middle Pyeatt, West Pyeatt and Sage. Unless <br />noted, banks appeared stable and well vegetated, spillways and flumes observed appeared <br />functional and without impediments.
